March 26 = Rugby Day

We started off today with Chickfila Breakfast- my favorite!  Later, we headed to the Naval Academy to show my parents Zachary's office- they've never seen it before!  Then he went to the Army/Navy rugby game.  Zachary got dressed without colors in mind and showed up wearing what looked like Army colors- oops.  Here's the whole crew:

And here's Malia in her Easter dress.  But it was cold so she's also in a coat and sweat pants.  Kind of takes away from how beautiful the dress is.

This is right before both kids were clearly ready to go:

So after about 30 minutes Zachary stayed behind to keep watching but the rest of us headed home for naps.  So I titled today Rugby day but a tiny portion of the day was spent at the match.  Later, we made buffalo wings and potato skins and watched Carolina advance to the next round of the NCAA tournament- great ending to a great day!

November 14 = Rugby Day

My mom, brother and Grace came in last night.  Zachary's gone this weekend for a marathon- he's not running- just supervising the Naval Academy's marathon team.  But a couple of his guys are on the rugby team and they had a big game today so we decided to represent for him and go cheer them on.  I don't have a clue what's going on but it was fun anyway.  It was really windy- when the wind stopped, the temperature was perfect- but that was rare and with the wind it was really cold so we didn't last very long.

October 25 = Rugby Day

Zachary has a couple girls in his company on the rugby team.  We went to the guys' rugby match yesterday but we got the times mixed up and ended up going to a match that none of his guys were playing in.  But we got this one right and we had lots of fun.  I tried to get Malia to wear a headband- she wasn't happy about it.

We packed lunch and grabbed some lunch in case the packed lunches didn't work- which they didn't- and brought the picnic blanket out.  I'm telling you- this picnic blanket has been such a great investment.

Later, we came home and hosted the next midshipmen dinner!  Malia found her a guy willing to hold on to her.

And Liam found some gals to hang out with.
