January 20 = New England Tour

So we are heading out of Rhode Island soon and with a new puppy and a new born, we have not done any exploring up here!  So we have our fantastic respite care provider, Leilanie, watching the kids today while we go gallivanting around the NE corner of the country.

We visited the Nubble Lighthouse in York, Maine.  It was so beautiful and so, so cold.

Then we shot right over to New Hampshire and went to a thrift store:

We found a picture frame, some placemats and this cool organizer thing:

Then we shot over to Vermont real quick for some dinner in Brattleboro (https://www.whetstonestation.com):

So now we can say we've been to Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont!

November 1 = Yummy Breakfast Day

Liam's still a little loopy from his MRI yesterday so while I had both Liam and Malia scheduled to go to the CDC, I kept Liam out and we went and got breakfast at Newport Creamery- here's his pancake:

and little Kayleigh was happy to tag along!

September 7 = Football Season Starts Day

We love football in our house!  Zachary took the kids to the gym and I got to work making some food so we could really enjoy kickoff Thursday!

I baked some premade sweet potato fries...

...made some pizza rolls...

...made boneless chicken wings...

...and baked some premade onion rings.  A nice mix of homemade and saving time.

Also, completely unrelated but I saw this today and I loved this.

August 1 = Vacation Day 2

So we've always been really hesitant to stay in hotels because Liam doesn't sleep which means no one sleeps.  But last night- he did sleep!  It was awesome!  And they loved having breakfast brought to them from downstairs:

Malia got a basketball from the Hall of Fame yesterday- she was really sweet and shared with Kayleigh.

I know she looks sad in this picture but we really were just trying to capture the sunglasses- the adorable frown was an added bonus- she wasn't really sad- she was fine.

We ate lunch at Rise N Shine Diner on our way from Albany to Niagara Falls.  It was deeeeeee-icious as Malia says.

Then we got to our ultimate destination- the Canadian side of the Niagara Falls.  I can now say I have been out of the country!

We got back in the car right in time- it started pouring seconds after we were all safe and secure in the van!

July 15 = Moving Day

So we dropped the older two kids off with Grandma and Dops- we got this picture of them this morning!

And Zachary, Kayleigh and I headed to Raleigh with Mimi and Gramps to help Matt move into his new apartment!

That night, we went to the Village- my absolute favorite restaurant in NC- Zachary got me this yummy strawberry daiquiri :):)
