January 10 = Bath Day

Kayleigh loves her baths!

January 9 = Funny Facebook Picture Day (again)

First- here's a baby in a shopping cart :)

And this made me laugh:

January 8 = Girls' Day

I love this quote:

And in honor of this quote- here are my two girls who most certainly will be more than sugar and spice.

January 4 = Birthday Surprise Dinner

Zachary arranged a surprise birthday dinner for me since we'll be back in Rhode Island, isolated from the world, for my birthday.  This is the only picture I have from it... ha.  You'll just have to trust that it was fun!

January 2 = Funny Facebook Post

I read this and busted out laughing.

December 31 = NYE

We went to the Village for dinner tonight- yum!  Kayleigh enjoyed it.

So NYE... party night right?  Zachary laid down with Kayleigh to get her to go to sleep and he fell asleep himself.  So.

December 28 = Sleepy Day

Look at these sleepies!

December 27 = Gramps Day

These kids love their Gramps!

December 26 = Early Birthday

Oh my goodness- Look at this snuggly baby doll.

Zachary gave me my birthday present early :) It's a beautiful parlor guitar!

December 25 = Kayleigh's First Christmas

Look at these two!

Uncle Matt & Meese took Malia back with them to spend the night- looks like she had a little fun.

December 22 = Barnes & Noble Day

Zachary sent me to Barnes & Noble to get out of the house today- I gathered an assortment of books and sat.  It was incredible.

Then I came home and made this.  Yum.

December 21 = Cookie Day

Praise leggings.

December 19 = Fried Chicken Day

This was in my Real Simple magazine and I just love it:

Also, I made this:

And this made me laugh:

December 18 = Lock Yourself in a Bathroom Day

Here's a screenshot of a text I sent Alexandra... today while I was talking to Liam's physical therapist, he locked himself in the public bathroom.  I was asking him to open it to no avail- we had to find a janitor to unlock the door.  Lord.

Love this:

And this:

And here's a picture of a cute baby:

December 16 = Lazy Saturday

Lazy Saturday for everyone- including the animals:

8 days late- better than not at all right?

Precisely:

December 15 = Girls in Hats Day

It's cold!  Here are my girls in hats:

December 14 = Malia Quote Day

This girl still has my blanket...

Also, here's a direct quote from Malia:

"I want my princess shirt.  I need to be cute."

Lord, teach me what to do with a girly girl- I don't feel adequately prepared.

December 13 = Funny Prayer Day

Here's Kayleigh in Daddy's cover:

And under Mommy's blanket:

Also- I made a note on my phone so I'd remember to put this in the blog.  Probably didn't think it would be over 8 months later but hey- this is why I make notes. So here's a convo between me and Malia:

December 12 = Healthy Eater Day

Here's Liam casually chomping on a tomato.

December 10 = Blanket Thief

This girl has stolen my blanket!  This blanket is 30 years old... if my house were on fire, I would make sure the children and pets were out and then this would be the one thing I would go back in for.  And now my littlest has stolen it.  Because I will risk life and limb to get it but waking a sleeping baby?  Not worth that.

December 6 = AWANA Day

First this:

Tonight, in AWANA, Liam got to play some drums.  His helper sent me these pictures she took :)

December 2 = Family Picture Day

Oh my goodness- so the church we go to- King Grant's Fellowship- has a program where they have a photographer and a Santa and they decorate and they have families with kids with special needs come in and give them a family picture.  It's amazing.  The lady that coordinates it has a son on the spectrum and so she understands how difficult it can be to get a good family picture.  So they have volunteers to get the kids' attention- they have stuff to keep the kids occupied before picture time so they're not "over it" by the time the camera's ready.  And this is now one of my most prized possessions:

December 1 = Make New Friends Day

Liam loves sitting next to new people at his therapy appointments.  Usually, as in this case, they are very nice and talk to him a bit until he goes back to his appointment.  He's such a sweet boy.

I got a bit nostalgic today so I looked at pictures of all the kids around 6 months- here's what we've got:

Also this:

I asked Malia to bring Kayleigh a toy- here's what we got:

Rosie loves her Kayleigh:
