November 30 = Kayleigh's Famous Day
Sleeping babyyyyy:
Malia in Liam's old Minion Christmas shirt:
Look! Kayleigh made the UNC Alumni magazine!
So we got these Christmas clothes thinking she'd fit in them for a little while... let's just say we're taking pictures now because we don't know if she'll fit 26 days from now...
These kids love each other:

October 14 = New Chalkboard Day
We went to McDonalds for breakfast this morning- they have a bookshelf with lots of fun books that Liam and Malia could choose from...
Uhm. Look at this baby.
Snuggles:
I updated my chalkboard again- I love this thing.
Lord help us if we get to Winter Storm Liam.

October 10 = Gramps & Mimi Visit Day
Look at these two holding hands:
And just look at Ms. Bright Eyes-
Gramps and Mimi left North Carolina yesterday, they stopped halfway and then got in today a couple minutes before Liam got home from school- they were really hoping to be here when he got off the bus and they made it!
On the 8th we only got a picture of Kayleigh with her sign laying down- I was not willing to wake her up for a picture, so today I got some with her in the chair with her sign just to be consistent with the pictures from previous months.
Malia wanted to do a craft today- I got these little paintable pumpkins from Michael's the other day and have been keeping them hidden and waiting for an opportunity like today!
Sleeping baby alert:
There's nothing like a girl and her daddy but there's also nothing like a girl and her grandpa... or gramps!

October 1 = Sister Snuggles Day
Kayleigh was being extra smiley this morning so Zachary got a picture of us together!
And then later I got a picture of her with her big sister- sweet sister snuggles!
Here's Malia all ready for church- I love her with a bow in her hair! We're not sure what's going on with her nose- I'm calling the doctor tomorrow to have her seen.
Malia was being such a sweet sister today, she even shared her Minnie Mouse with Kayleigh!

September 23 = Mow the Yard Day
Our backyard is a hot mess. Zachary went to home depot and rented a lawn mower since this is probably the only time it'll be used. Liam's helping and Rosie's supervising.
Malia loves supplying her little sister with stuffed animals. It's so sweet and cute.
Snuggles are like my favorite thing.

July 5 = Read to Sister Day
Oh my goodness- too much cuteness for one picture:
I'm so obsessed with baby feet but Kayleigh loves to be super warm so I don't get to see hers as much as I would like- she did me a favor this morning though and snuck one of her little feet out :)
Malia got a book from the shelf and said "I need to read to Kayleigh."

August 26 = Procedure Day
My mom and brother came in last night- they're going to help take care of the kids (and me) this weekend after my D&C today. Matt slept in the living room last night and when Malia woke up this morning, she went right in and snuggled up. We took Liam to school and then my mom and I went to get a pedicure while Zachary had Malia and Uncle Matt picked Liam up from school.
Here's Malia accompanying her daddy to the gym:
And here's a picture uncle Matt got of Liam after he picked him up from school and took him to the park:
I wasn't allowed to eat after midnight last night so I was going on 17 hours of no food by the time they took me back for my procedure but I was totally out for it and don't remember a thing. It was quick and painless minus the IV and I've got lots of help this weekend so we're going to look at all those bright parts. It still hurts but at least now it's over. I had a hard time in the in-between stage but I'm hoping now that everything's over, things can get back to normal soon. I'm so very grateful for the two kids I do have. I can't imagine going through this without being able to see their faces and know I'm already blessed beyond measure.

August 10 = Mess Day
First this:
Then look at this sweet girl snuggling with her momma:
And then look at what said sweet girl and her sweet brother did to her room:
Cute story. While I was cleaning up Malia's room, Liam disappeared downstairs. I went downstairs to find him and he had found some white paint. He used his finger to paint this piece from a book. I was about to get on to him until he looked at me with his beautiful brown eyes and said "I made it." He was proud of himself. Here's his masterpiece.
Also, tonight we got this video of Liam trying to decide what he wanted to watch on TV:
