October 23 = Eventful Day

We started off the day by heading to Liam's appointment- I brought some playing cards for Malia to play with in hopes that she would be at least slightly entertained- it was pretty successful!

Then we headed to the Y for Malia's gymnastics class.  It's so fun watching her run around and just doing whatever she wants!

On the way out of the Y, Malia started complaining about her nose- I looked in it and could tell something was in there so I took Liam to the CDC and headed to the ER- sure enough this is what they found... I have no clue what it is- it was black and spongy- who knows.

While I was calling her PCM to let them know we went to the ER, this happened:

It really is incredible how quickly they can make such a big mess.

August 15 = Baby Mohawk Day

So I took a nap today.  I keep telling myself it's never worth it- the mess I have to clean up afterwards... but then I decide maybe I've been wrong every time before and it is worth it.  This is what I walked into post nap today... so you decide.

Here's a Kayleigh bath picture...

And a picture of her crazy hair post bath.  I laughed at Zachary for styling her hair that way but he promised he didn't do anything to her hair- that's just how it dried.

And then later I got a picture of Kayleigh's feet because baby feet are the best thing in the world.

April 17 = Bee Movie Day

I just don't understand why making a mess is so appealing...

So Malia has recently discovered bees.  She calls them buzzes.  She says, "It's a buzz.  I scared."  And it's really cute.  So Zachary decided to put on a movie all about bees!  She's not so sure about it, as you can see:

March 3 = Play on Changing Table Day

First, just a picture of some sibling love going on:

Then a picture of the mess my children can make in 30 seconds:

And this is why, if you see us out in public and Malia's hair is a mess and clothes don't match... this is what I go through trying to get these children dressed:

January 20 = Hop on Pop Day

First- here's a picture of my darling children making a mess and sitting in a box.

No idea where he found a red marker...

Also, saw this and related very well:

And I got on a cleaning kick and decided to take pictures of the artwork Liam had made that was on our walls so I could get rid of it :)

Here's Liam climbing on the table to smell a candle:

And here the kids are using Daddy as a jungle gym:

December 11 = Mess Day

Look!  Baby's the size of a lemon :):)

Also, funny memory from today (sometimes, when funny things happen, I make a note in my phone and screenshot it so I'll remember to blog about it- my memory's not sharp enough for me to remember this from over a month ago haha):

Liam is really into singing with anything he can make pass as a microphone.  Today he was singing and when he was done with his song, said "thanks guys" and just walked away like he was walking off stage.  It was really funny- he's a character.

Also- we had two babysitters yesterday while we were at the game- one started the afternoon and the other took over in the evening.  This is what remained:

It makes me feel better that they only had them for a couple of hours and couldn't keep the house clean so pressure's off for me, right??

Malia found some headbands and bracelets... my girly girl!

November 13 = Biden Memes Day

I have a new favorite thing.  Biden Memes.

My kids also have a new favorite thing:

It's called "shove as many toys as we can out of the tiny crack in the door we can make with the lock on the top just to make a big mess."

Also, my other favorite thing is Malia saying "where are you?"  I tried to get her to say it on this video but she wouldn't but there's some other good stuff on this video:

October 17 = Messy Day

Just had to document how much of a mess my kids can make (mainly Liam):

and I'm not certain but I'm fairly confident that this was the work of Miss Malia amid all the madness around her:

Nothin' like a girl and her Daddy:

Also because our house isn't noisy enough, I got Liam a microphone... he's a fan I think but still getting used to it:

September 22 = Big Mess Day

We started the day off the right way- Chickfila breakfast.

But later that night, we weren't doing so well.  Also don't worry about the fact that Malia's wearing the same shirt she was wearing yesterday.  I could tell you I washed it last night but I would be lying.

Anyway- I had to take a video of the mess I came downstairs to in the amount of time it took me clean up a mess that had been made in Liam's room:

You can hear him say "not cool."  That's right Liam.  "Not cool."

And here's my sweet girl trying to clean up the mess that she may have helped make:

August 10 = Mess Day

First this:

Then look at this sweet girl snuggling with her momma:

And then look at what said sweet girl and her sweet brother did to her room:

Cute story.  While I was cleaning up Malia's room, Liam disappeared downstairs.  I went downstairs to find him and he had found some white paint.  He used his finger to paint this piece from a book.  I was about to get on to him until he looked at me with his beautiful brown eyes and said "I made it."  He was proud of himself.  Here's his masterpiece.

Also, tonight we got this video of Liam trying to decide what he wanted to watch on TV:

June 30 = Frog Day

Today we met Liam's summer physical therapist at the park- Liam and Jen (the PT) hung out while Malia and I stuck together.  Malia started hopping around the trail like this and making frog sounds:

Also... it's a good thing I'm on a reorganizing kick because I'm going to have to figure out a new place for my aluminum foil.

I got to the towels and sheets today and folded them in a similar way as my clothes.

When I went to fold the clothes I told the kids they needed to put the aluminum foil back where they found it.  They tried.
