December 10 = Blanket Thief

This girl has stolen my blanket!  This blanket is 30 years old... if my house were on fire, I would make sure the children and pets were out and then this would be the one thing I would go back in for.  And now my littlest has stolen it.  Because I will risk life and limb to get it but waking a sleeping baby?  Not worth that.

May 9 = Getting Dressed Day

This morning I was woken up to Liam yelling "Come here daddy, come here daddy," over and over again.  I opened his door and he said "I got dressed!"  He had taken his pajamas off and gotten a pair of pants and a tshirt out of his dresser and put it on.  I was so proud!

Zachary had taken Rosie to work this morning because she was a ball of energy and he wanted me to be able to get some more sleep... I think being at work wore her out.

I got Rosie back after taking Liam to school so Rosie, Malia and I got to spend some quality time together- just us girls :)

Later, we went to the playground.  I will drive the short distance next time because getting the three of these crazy kids to the playground is quite a task.

I shot a short video at the playground... these kids crack me up.

I forgot to look at an update on the baby on Sunday so I took a screen shot of The Bump app today instead... we're getting there!

Later, we grilled some chicken outside.  One of our neighbors was leaving and on her way out said- "Wow, you all really are from North Carolina, you grill out every night!"  Truth.  Rosie liked being outside and while she doesn't typically tolerate blankets on her, it was a bit chilly so she did this time.

Also, I've mentioned my baby blanket on the blog a few times and I have a feeling Gigi may turn out to be his version of my baby blanket... looks like there's nothing to worry about!

January 10 = Blanket Back Day

First, I went to the commissary today and felt like I'm big enough now to justify using this parking spot:

And also, today was such a good day.  When we went to NC for Christmas, I brought my so very loved baby blanket that I sleep with every night.  We ended up leaving Christmas night and I had taken a nap in my brother's room and left my blanket in there and since it wasn't with my stuff, it didn't get packed.  My brother and Grace were supposed to come up the next weekend but something came up and then my parents were supposed to come the next weekend but the weather was bad so finally, I put my trust in the postal system and asked my mom to mail it.  It made it safely!  I'm going to sleep so much better tonight!

April 26 = Suitcase Arrival Day

So I mentioned a few days ago that we left one of our suitcases at the hotel.  I have no clue how that happened but- whatever- it came today!

These were the two irreplaceable items in it- Zachary's Boston Marathon Medal and the baby blanket I've slept with since I was an infant.  Such a relief to have it back!  The suitcase, I mean.  But also, yes, the blanket.
