More hanging out outside... we love it when other dogs come to play :)
We had our respite care provider come over tonight so Zachary and I could go out to dinner for our seventh anniversary! We took Miss Kayleigh Bug with us
Bellinis are so good.
Kayleigh got her first real bath tonight- her umbilical cord fell off yesterday so today was a great day for a nice, warm bath. Malia needed to supervise and although Kayleigh doesn't look happy here, she really did enjoy it.

I had an appointment today so we took Liam to the Navy day care but kept Malia out because she's usually pretty easy. Well let this first picture give you an idea of the kind of attitude she had today:
We had gift cards to Brio which is not a good place for Mr. Liam to go to because he doesn't like to sit still and quietly so we've been planning on going while he's in the day care- we didn't even think Malia might be tough but she decided to keep us on our toes because today she decided to be so mad about everything- she didn't want to be in her car seat so we took her out and then she didn't want to sit still so Zachary took her over to a bench- thankfully we were sitting outside so it wasn't difficult to let her move around. They had some good bonding time while I finished my delicious lunch.
It's getting cold in Annapolis! Liam's TMNT vest is serving him well! Before heading to downtown Annapolis, affectionately known as DTA, Pops took Liam to the playground outside our apartment. This boy is obsessed with going outside- he's also obsessed with having both hands held and having his hand holders count to three and swing him through the air. And he's also obsessed with Gigi- if you don't have enough hands to hold Gigi, carrying her in your mouth will have to do!
There's a store in DTA called Irish Traditions and anytime we are close, Zachary and his family stop in- it's a favorite of theirs. It's really neat- they have clothes and jewelry, baby gifts and information about different Irish families. Liam enjoyed himself during this trip and tried on this really cool hat. Also I'm pretty good at taking pictures very quickly before he vehemently takes the hat off.
Later in the day we all went to eat dinner at Zachary's and my favorite new restaurant, Brio. Liam did not cooperate; Zachary and I took turns walking around outside with him but here's his, "1, 2, 3, weeeeee" action shot on the way back to the car!
One of Zachary's classmates' wives texted the group of us wives and asked if we'd be interested in getting the families together to watch the tree lighting at one of the shopping centers in Annapolis. Everyone was eager to come together so we met for dinner at Brio and shared dinner and conversations! Since it was so close to Zachary's birthday, I had one of his classmates order desserts for everyone to celebrate- it was a big surprise for Zachary and for someone who never demands attention to be on him, it was nice. We missed the tree lighting but a lot of the families took advantage of the photo op anyway!
