July 13 = Date Night

So this is a post with no theme at all... here's just some pictures from today!

Such a big helper:

 Eating lunch is hard:

We got to go out.  This is sad but I can't tell you where this is- don't remember it at all and it's only been two months...

She's thinking...

Saw this and laughed out loud- the cat looks more like Joey but has more of Marley's mentality I think.

And a convenient explanation for why I can't remember the date pictured above...

June 28 = Sister Bonding Day

I've got some cute pictures...

Quite a pair these two are.

Kayleigh rolled right off the blanket- she didn't seem too upset so I snapped a picture before making Rosie move and spreading out the blanket

And an even cuter video:

April 28 = Moving Day!

Uncle Matty (who Liam now refers to as Uncle Monkey), came in last night to help us move.  We got to work early this morning!  Liam went to school- Malia and I helped move little stuff downstairs while Zachary and Matthew worked on the furniture.  I say Malia helped but that is a lie.  She had a different plan:

We walked to pick up Liam from the bus stop for the last time... no more bus after today.  I couldn't find a pair of shoes for her so she had to wear a pair of Liam's shoes.

First nap in the new house:

March 15 = Puzzle Day

I've been looking for a puzzle to do for months.  Finally, I woke up and realized I could have my pick if I looked on Amazon.  So here we go...

Malia was helping me out... ish.

Saw this on facebook and sent it to Zachary.  Cookies beat flowers every time.

Also, even though our commander-in-chief decided not to fill out a NCAA tournament bracket this year, I was super excited to see Obama filled one out.  And he made a really good choice :):)

Here's what I got done today:

Also, although Liam is not here, he's always on my mind and seeing this made me laugh.  This is so him.

February 22 = Big Helper Day

Malia hates riding in shopping carts and today I had the energy to let her walk with the cart instead.  She did a really good job!

Also I took this video of her singing along to Doc McStuffins- I love listening to her sing along to things :)

October 10 = Praying Mantis Day

First, here's a picture of Malia helping to clean up- she's so sweet.

And then... we went to the playground across the street today and Zachary found this praying mantis.  He brought it home to take pictures of it (we had left our phones at home).

Then he came back to help me get the kids home... via bike.

Also, here's my little momma Malia loving on her Minnie...

and here's a video of lunch on a typical day in the Holliday house:

September 11 = Big Helper Day

Liam did the cutest thing today.  Malia threw her plate from the high chair to the table so Liam picked it up, dumped most of the food that was remaining on the plate back on her tray...

...and then took her plate to the trash can to wipe off what he couldn't get on her tray...

and then threw it in the sink.  Such a big helper!

And then we made these for the grandparents since Grandparents' Day is Sunday!  I liked the idea of the string connecting the hearts but Zachary liked drawing a line so he did that on his parents' card, and I did the string on mine.  And that's how you compromise!

March 31 = Play Outside Day

Hallelujah!  It was 66 degrees today.  We took advantage of it and headed outside.  This was Malia's first time trying out the umbrella stroller and Liam wanted to push her- it was so sweet.

Zachary and I were talking and turned and looked and Liam was all the way up the stairs and sat down on the slide to go down- without any help he mastered the playground equipment!

And then it was time to go back inside- Liam was such a big helper pushing his sister up the stairs.

Also, on a completely unrelated note, Liam said "nana" today for banana.
