We're getting close to meeting baby which means it's getting really difficult for me to do so many things I'm used to being able to do- going up stairs, vacuuming, "running" inside really quick for this one thing I forgot... so today, since Zachary wasn't home, we took it reallllll easy- as in I didn't step outside until after 7pm to take the trash out. But we had a good day even with missing daddy!
Zachary had his best duty day ever when he got to meet the Red Sox as they were at the Academy for a game against the Nationals. Here he is with Dustin Pedroia- he was super excited!
After I put the kids down, I had an exciting night watching the Tar Heels win their Final Four game and advance to the championship game which will be Monday night. It wasn't ideal watching it alone but with the nail-biting ending, it probably was a good thing. I took a picture of the TV asking me "Are you still watching?" Of course I'm still watching TV!!

August 30 = Early Birthday Present Day
We ran to AC Moore after dropping Liam off at school and I got this little carpet with some wooden cars- I should wait until Liam's birthday to give it to him but if you know me, you know that's not going to happen. Malia's previewing it before her brother gets home.
"Before last night's Red Sox game, David Ortiz was signing autographs when someone handed him their baby. Just then, the National Anthem began so..."
We love Big Papi in this house.

April 23 = Malia's Expressive Day
We had a fun day today! Look at my skinny child:
Ravens and Red Sox... interesting combo:
Malia wore a pretty little dress today that her friend Evie got her for her birthday last year... and she's being such a sweet girl to Joey.
After getting dressed and eating breakfast we headed to the gym and then to the Academy. I've got to share these videos of my crazy kids:
We went to the Academy to see the swimming portion of the Special Olympics that the Midshipmen Action Group was helping out with:
We had spaghetti for dinner- can you tell?
Also, I saw this on facebook and laughed out loud again.
And later, I brought this toy out- there's a frame and then a board with holes in it that different colored buttons can pop into. It came with lots of different pictures that can go on the board and helps the kids with color recognition and the fine motor skills required to pop the buttons in. I got it out for Liam but Malia really surprised me with how well she did!
