May 29 = Just a Second Day

Today was kind of a long day... we didn't really have anything to do- it's Memorial Day... but there's always one thing you can do no matter what day it is and that is snuggle with your puppy:

Another thing we did was go to the playground... the kids have finally realized how fun the swings are and, as long as they're being pushed, are pretty content for about 20 minutes.  Zachary had Liam and Rosie... I was just responsible for Malia but we were way behind them.  It had something to do with Miss Independent demanding to put her shoes on all by herself.

May 28 = 37 Weeks Day

We're getting there!  If Kayleigh (we've decided, it's done, set in stone, done) decides to come when her brother did, she'll be here Tuesday... or if she decides to wait like her sister, we've got two more weeks (and a day).

Sleeping puppy pictures are the bestttttt:

May 27 = Chickfila Breakfast Day

We love our Chickfila breakfast on a Saturday morning.  I could eat it every day but that probably wouldn't be a great idea.

Also, Zachary got a new truck today... an F-150... it's real real red.  He's wanted a truck forever.  One of his favorite stories to tell is the night before we went to get him a new car after we first got married, my brother sent me a link to the CRV.  I fell in love and we traded my civic in for the CRV and he kept driving his car.  He's wanted a truck since he was a kid... so today, his dream came true ;)

May 26 = Group Bath Day

First, I just had to capture this because Malia thought it would be a good idea to get under the desk to run from Rosie... didn't work so well.

And then I got a few pictures of Liam, Malia and Rosie getting a bath... Malia and Liam had so much fun gently pouring water over Rosie.

Rosie had slightly less fun.

May 25 = Malia is a Nut Day

I treasure videos like these because I'll always remember Malia was a pretty silly toddler but videos like these will help me remember some of her specific little quirks... like picking up food with her mouth and those expressions she makes with her eyes.  I'm getting a little nostalgic with my last pregnancy coming to an end so... I'm glad I have these!

May 24 = Blue Angels Day

Zachary got off super early today because the traffic around Annapolis is ridiculous on Blue Angels Day that a ton of people just take the whole day off.  We had a cookout with our neighbors behind the building and then moved a bit to get a better view.

Of course we brought Rosie... Malia is very protective and a bit possessive over Miss Rosie.

The noise didn't really bother her but she saw some other little ones who were bothered and then decided it did indeed bother her... I love. this. picture.

This is the only good picture I got...

And then it was nap time... all three animals decided to help Zachary nap...

and then Marley had had enough bonding time so she went and napped on the stroller box in the background.

May 23 = Boxes are Toys Day

All of our fabulous new baby stuff came and there were two identical, large boxes so I thought we might could have some fun with them before we threw them away.  I was right.  I gave the kids some markers and had them decorate their "houses" while we listened to music.  Jackpot.

There are no words for this so I'll just leave it here...

Sometimes, Rosie disappears and takes naps in the weirdest places- this is one of those times:

May 22 = Rosie Visits the Academy Day

I love getting pictures of this dog sleeping...

Malia found a new way to get out of the car...

Look how precious.

We had one of our respite care providers come tonight so Zachary and I could go out on a date!  We went to Park Tavern- yum- but still had a bit of time left when we were done eating so we grabbed Rosie and took her over to the Academy in the hopes of wearing her out so she'd sleep well.  It worked and brightened some Mids' days.

May 21 = New Baby Stuff Day

We got our big shipment from Amazon today- a stroller, car seat, bathtub, swing, bottles, pacis, breast pump and a boppy.  We're ready!

Rosie's tired...

Yep.

And today happens to be 36 weeks!

May 20 = Rosie's Bath Day

Still working on a name...

We got the car serviced today.  It took over three hours.  Thankfully, Zachary, Liam and Malia spent over two of those hours at the gym and the kids were pretty darn good- a lot better than I expected.

Also Rosie got her first bath at home- she got one last week in Smithfield, but this was the first time I got to witness it.

May 19 = New Friends Day

We were leaving to get Liam from school.  Malia decided to take her sweet time and sit on each step on her way down.  Also, Malia hates wearing shoes 90% of the time.

Yes.

Joey finds comfort in odd positions.

Yay!! Rosie and Joey are friends!!

May 18 = OT Meltdown Day

Things started just fine and dandy this morning...

And then we got to OT.  Every time we go to OT, Liam gets a muffin from the front of the office.  There's a basket in the same spot every single time we go with plenty of muffins.  If Malia is with us, he knows to get two and if Malia's not with us, he knows to get one (and usually sneaks another on the way out).  Well they didn't have muffins today.  Actual conversation from this discovery:

Liam: Where the muffins?
Me: I don't know buddy, they must have run out.
Liam: BAD MOMMYYYYYYY!!!!!

So I spent about 10 minutes calming him down and letting him know they might have them next time but today, they were all gone... blah blah blah... and then the therapist comes out, asks what's wrong, and takes him to the staff room and gets him a muffin.  Oh well.

But the day ended on a much better note...

Fun times outside with the kids and the dog- what a great Thursday!
