September 10 = Sweet Sisters Day

Kayleigh gets so excited every day when Malia gets home- she grabs her and hugs her and then they walk hand in hand back home :)

October 26 = Chalkboard Day

Bah, she's so cute.

I got a new Bible today- look how pretty!

Also, I updated my chalkboard.  I love this thing.  This is what it was:

And this is what I changed it to:

October 21 = Rosie Day

Today was all about Rosie!  We got her a doghouse...

...with it's own address!

She was definitely feeling the love.

August 7 = Back to Maryland Day

Before we left this morning, we got a picture in front of the Love sign and grabbed a donut from Dunkin.

Then we got to come home to these two clowns that we missed so much!

August 6 = COLDPLAY DAY!

Oh my goodness.  Zachary and I drove to Philadelphia this morning- Grandma & Aunt Shari are watching the kids for us.  Zachary got tickets to a Coldplay concert for me for Valentine's Day and I've been eagerly awaiting this day since then.  As soon as we got to the hotel, we passed out.  When we woke up, we immediately started walking toward the stadium and got there really early.  Here's a picture of downtown Philadelphia from the stadium:

And here's the almost empty stadium that we got to super early:

Selfie Alert:

So when I say we were there early I mean like two hours early.  So here's some stuff I found and liked on Facebook while we were waiting:

If you can't read this it says: You could eat off my floor.  Just add an egg to the crumbs and voila- surprise casserole!

June 21 = New Game Day

He lets me love on him sometimes...

I found this really cool printable where you get all these animals and some headings so Liam can put the animals under the headings where they belong.  The headings are "on the farm," "in the zoo," and "in the ocean."  He doesn't know all of them yet but he's learning and has lots of fun velcro-ing them in the right place and making lots of animal noises.

This was our dinner tonight- tex mex rice on tortilla chips with lots of shredded cheese.  Yummmmm.

March 29 = CDC Day

My college roommate came to visit us last night!  She's here until Thursday and I couldn't be happier about it.  Today we went to the gym and then took the kids to the CDC so we could eat lunch and do some shopping sans kids.  We ate at the Breakfast Shoppe- so so good.  And then we went to Target and Home Depot and DSW and Old Navy.  It was so nice to be able to walk around leisurely!  Oh also.  At Home Depot... we went there to get some stuff for our backyard and as we pulled in we saw these two men running through the parking lot with chainsaws.  They jumped in a car and it sped off- like with a getaway driver.  We witnessed the theft of chainsaws from a Home Depot- it was insane.  And thankfully that was the most exciting part of the day.  Alexandra got this picture of the babies holding hands on the way out of the CDC- how sweet!

November 8 = Grandma's Birthday!

Malia started the morning by stealing Pops' slippers and putting them on her hands.  Not sure how she got in his room but she has a thing for shoes.

She tried Daddy's shoes on too...

We headed to church where Zachary and I got to enjoy a service together and the kids were entertained in the nursery.

Then we came home and had a yummy lunch- hamburgers and hotdogs- but Liam wasn't into waiting until they were done so he snacked on some yogurt.  These yogurt cups have Mickey on them so they were a hit.

Then we had naps- I didn't think Liam would sleep but he did and he slept hard.  When it was time for him to get up I found this:

Then it was time for dinner... chili!  But before dinner, there was time for some Grandma birthday snuggles.  Liam went for a kiss.

I got a shirt for Malia that says "It's a nice day for visiting Grandma."

The birthday cake was delicious- Malia agreed.

Zachary found this as a great opportunity to play around with Malia.  He kept sneaking up on her and she was a huge fan.

And here's a picture of Liam tricking Pops.  Liam ate a bag of fruit snacks and then grabbed another.  He took it to Zachary and Zachary said no.  So he brought it to me and I said, "What did Daddy say?" and he said no.  So then he took it to Pops who had been distracted by the iPad.  Pops immediately opened it and handed it to him while the rest of us looked on and laughed.  Gotta give Liam credit for being resourceful.

September 5 = Liam's Third Birthday!

The Naval Academy's first football game was today so Zachary had to attend and his Dad went with him- so the rest of us headed to Clark's Elioak Farm in Ellicot City.  This is the same place Malia had her seizures and then we went back a few weeks later and Liam had a blast.

As soon as we walked in, Liam found a slide.  He had everyone go down it with him- multiple times each.

Eventually I got him to explore some other areas of the farm.  We saw some rabbits and chickens...

... some sheep...

...lots of horses...

 ...and some really stinky pigs.

Matthew and Grace worked together to recreate a picture we took last year.  Here's this year's:

And then I talked him into a pony ride- but he upgraded to a horse this year!  He did such a good job.

Then he found something else to climb on...

Malia had fun having every one take turns holding her but a day wouldn't be complete without a little sass from the little lady.

August 8 = Slow Morning Day

Last night, Zachary had to/got to go to a baseball game- while it was fun, he didn't get home until after midnight so on Saturday morning, we had a bit of a slow start.  This may be the first time this has ever happened so I had to get a picture.  The two cats were with us as well.

We all laid in bed for 15 minutes or so and watched "Ickey Ouse" until I remembered Joey had to be groomed and we needed to leave in 20 minutes which is about how long it takes to change diapers and get everyone dressed.
