I went to get Liam up for school this morning- look at these sweet babies. It took a while to get the morning routine going but he was happy. Sleepy but happy!
We got some more pictures of Miss Rosie today!!
Liam must have been reallyyyyy tired because he took a nap this afternoon after school. Here's how I found them:

April 20 = Memories Day
So I don't know that I've mentioned this on the blog. If I have, I apologize. Our lease is up on April 30th. The owner has decided he wants to sell. We asked if we could stay for two and a half more months so we don't have to move in Annapolis before we move to Rhode Island in July. He said we could but had some unrealistic expectations and had he sold it, we'd have to move anyway so we decided to go ahead and move. Any time someone scheduled a showing, we would have to leave the house and I just imagined getting home from the hospital after McKenzie's born and getting a phone call that we have 30 minutes to get out. Not appealing. So... thankfully, there is military housing available for us so we're going to move about 10 minutes away. Any spare minute we have is used for packing/organizing/planning/cleaning. Liam's tired of it:
He really did almost fall asleep on the bottom stair today.
Anyway, I've been going through lots of stuff and I took on our "memory boxes" today. I found these pieces of paper we had put in a jar one year- we had this goal of anytime anything awesome happened, we would write it down and put it in the jar and on New Year's Eve, have fun going through all the memories. We started off strong. I don't want to keep all the pieces of paper but I want to keep the memories so I'm going to type them up here. They're all from 2013.
1-3: Liam measured at the 25th percentile for weight but 60th for head circumference.
1-4: We moved into our new house (how appropriate- this was Oregon City Street on Mayport's Base).
1-13: Liam rolled over and then slept through the night- both first times!
1-23: Liam came home from the hospital happy and on medicine to control his seizures!
1-25: Liam laughed his first real laugh- at mommy!
2-9: Liam rolled over every time I put him on his belly tonight- 5 times! The end of tummy time.
2-14: Liam at a few bites of avocado!
2-23: Liam's half birthday- lots of family and friends came to celebrate.
3-3: Zachary held a girl named Paisley the whole time we had nursery for the first time because she would cry if he thought about putting her down.
3-10: Easter Egg Hunt (A little early since Zachary was out for Easter)
4-1: The batteries made one fire alarm go off which made another go off at 3AM. Jeannie freaked out and stood guard at the head of the bed for at least 30 minutes.
5-13: 10 year anniversary; Liam ate bread at outback and then we saw Christian Laettner at Zachary's basketball game.
5-23: 1st Family Beach Trip
5-24: First time Liam had home made peaches (not Gerber), he ate a crazy amount!
5-26: Liam held his bottle and fed himself for the first time!
5-31: We all watched Rocky together! (I remember this so well... I surprised Zachary by finding it online- he'd been bugging me to watch it... He loved watching it with his wife beside him and his son on his lap)
7-4: Liam clapped his hands for the first time.
7-5: Liam gave John Dominey his first high five.
10-1: Liam waved at someone for the time in an Ikea elevator.
I wanted to document all of these since not every day of his life at this age was written about like I do now. Such good memories!

April 4= Sleepy Boy Day
Here's a belly shot:
And here's my sleepy boy- how sweet is he? I didn't even try to make him go to school today because of how late he was up last night.

March 6 = Glucose Test Day
I had to take the glucose tolerance test today to test for gestational diabetes- this is gross.
Zachary had watched the kids for me during my appointment so I picked them up at the Academy and we headed to one of Liam's appointments. He fell asleep on the way.

January 31 = Creative Day
First, here's a picture of napping Liam- I have to document it because it's so very rare that he takes a nap.
Also, I had so much fun today doing a little craft. My friend, Amy, has a little baby shower tomorrow so I wanted to make her soon-to-be-here son some cute little initials for his room. His name is Myers Lee Rowntree and I found this cute little sailboat paper in light blue and chose a grey and a white to go with it and painted the sides of the letters navy blue. I just traced the letters onto the scrapbook paper and then used mod podge- so easy but also so fun!

September 28 = Fall Asleep in the Car Day
Liam had OT today so when I picked him from the bus, we took Malia to Zachary at the academy and then went to his appointment. I read the whole time, it was glorious. We went to pick Malia up and on the way home, Liam did this:
When we got home, I got him out of his seat very carefully and brought him inside. I laid him down in the floor so I could go get Malia from the car, assuming he'd get up and be ready to party but he stayed asleep right there on the floor. I wasn't confident that I could carry him up to the 3rd floor so I woke him up and he went to his room and went right back to sleep. Score.

May 20 = Moving Day
We got some work done last night but the majority of the work is going to be done today! I didn't take any pictures during the day because my cute kids weren't there to be in them but I did take a picture of my delicious lunch at the Village with Alexandra.
I got lots of texts from Zachary letting me know how their day was going and sending me lots of pictures so I didn't miss everyone too much! He sent me this:
and then a video to show her new habit:
They had to get up early (for the kids, late for Zachary) to go to a ceremony at the Academy so this was Liam before dinner:
Zachary moved some furniture around to make our lives easier- these kids get into everything! Liam's favorite trick is to move our kitchen table's chairs to the counter and he can access everything and therefore make a big mess. So Zachary moved the table and chairs into the area that has a gate blocking it off when we want it blocked off. That meant the toddler bed that had been in that area had to be moved so he moved it to Malia's room and she slept on it like it was no big deal. Liam still hasn't transitioned to his bed yet- he doesn't stay in it until he passes out but Malia stayed in it all night!
Just in case, Zachary moved the changing table contents out of Miss Malia's reach:
I also got this precious picture of Joey:
I'm so glad to get to help my parents move but I do miss them all!

April 20 = Catch Up Day
Back to reality! Zachary had class last night and today was back to being a normal day. Malia found Liam's Name Bubble labels (from namebubbles.com- they're awesome) and labeled herself.
And later we took Liam to his group session. He made this really cool piece of art based on the story "If You Give a Dog a Donut." He was wearing his Red Sox hat and was really excited to show me!
And I made something that I think is really going to make my life easier. When I was in kindergarten, each of us students had our name outside a little pocket on a big board. Inside the pocket was a red, yellow and green card. We started on green but if we misbehaved we got moved to yellow and if we misbehaved again, it was red. Of course I was never moved to yellow or red because I was an angel :) but every day the teacher would send home a note letting our parents know what color we were on. I took that idea and ran with it. Notice Malia's already on red.
While Liam was at his group session, Malia and I ran to AC Moore and picked up this cool numbers puzzle- Liam likes it so far!
And after we played with the puzzle a little bit, it was time for naps. Liam took a long time to wake up from his:
Apparently it was "tackle Mommy time."
