April 24 = New Shoes Day

Liam went to the CDC (Child Development Center) for most of the day- we had a pretty low key day- getting some stuff done around the house.  Here's Malia drinking some water from her sippy cup- she doesn't get much out but I think it's probably good for her to get used to the cup now that she's interested in it.

We are convinced Liam grew overnight because yesterday his shoes fit fine and this morning it was hard to get them on so we looked at the Navy Exchange and found some tennis shoes and some sandals for the summer- here's one of his new shoes:

Then we went to Ruby Tuesday- Zachary loves the salad bar there and he always gets a few things for Liam and now Malia to snack on while we're waiting for the meals to come out.  They both ate some carrots, grapes and peas.  After Liam ate his meal, he decided to use his leftover honey mustard as a dip for his sugar packet...

April 23 = My Gym Day

We got to go to "My Gym" today for Liam's group therapy- they don't actually interact with each other but it's just opened for kids in this program and we take advantage of it as much as we can.  Liam was being rather calm so I was able to play with Malia a little bit- she loved the ball pit.

Liam had a lot of fun in this tunnel- he went through it a few times.

Zachary had dinner after class tonight so I scheduled a snuggle session with her in advance and when Liam went to bed she and I headed to my bed for some Grey's Anatomy.  Spoiler alert:

My favorite character was killed on Grey's tonight and I was so mad but Malia was laying beside so peaceful and sweet so I couldn't get too animated.

April 22 = Sassy Sister Day

All four of us trekked to the grocery store today... I typically go when the kids are napping and Zachary's home to avoid all four of us having to go but we were feeling adventurous today.  They were giving away cookies so Zachary got "one for himself" and one for Liam and ended up giving both to Liam.  Well Malia didn't approve of that and took one for herself.  I captured the attack and the victory:

April 21 = Try a New Cup Day

Malia finally got Liam back for all the things he's stolen from her and she grabbed Liam's cup.  I have no clue if she got any juice out of it but it was cute to see her grab it and put it straight to her mouth like she was saying, "I know what to do with this."  Also Liam did something awesome today- he said "pink fork" at breakfast which is significant because he, completely on his own, generated a two word phrase.  He's been using two word phrases with our help but for him to say "pink fork" on his own was huge and exciting!  Also Malia stood up in her pack 'n' play which is hard to do!  There's nothing really to grip on like if she had pulled up to stand using the couch or a table or something.  Lots of achievements today!

April 20 = Overdue Picture Day

Zachary headed to the old apartment this morning to officially check out- we left it in pretty good shape so we don't have any charges or anything which is awesome- with two cats and two kids it's kind of exciting.  So this morning Liam, Malia and I shared some berries- raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and strawberries- they love them almost as much as I do... almost.  I also toasted some English muffins and spread some nutella on them for us- nutella is so very good.

Also, I finally, four days late, took Malia's 9 month picture.  I knew I had a six from her six month picture so I was trying to find that but couldn't so I gave up and went to Michael's to get another six to serve as a nine this time.  She is a crawling pro and really close to pulling up to stand.  Liam has gotten into the habit of pushing her down but she usually holds her ground and has started giving him quite a look.  But she's also the sweetest baby I've ever encountered- she hugs her mommy and daddy as well as her baby dolls.  She's a great eater- I don't pay a lot of attention to if she's ahead or behind certain milestones because I've learned with Liam that kids do what they want to do when they want to do it and worrying about it doesn't make them do it any faster but if I had to guess, I'd say she's slightly ahead in a lot of areas but the foods she's eating- the variety and the textures- she's a superstar.  I get so excited to get her out of her crib every morning and I treasure being able to pray over her and say good night to her every night.

April 19 = Play with Gramps Day

Gramps, Grammy & Matt left today but not before Gramps got on the ground and played with his grandbabies- he loves them so much and that warms my heart- I made sure my brother captured this moment.

April 18 = First Day in New Home Day

I'm thinking Zachary and I should offer our services to other families because we can sure turn an empty place into a livable home in no time at all.  We couldn't have done it without my parents and brother helping us watch the kids but pretty much everything is in place- definitely everything we need and lots of our decorations.  We've gotten pretty good at this.  I moved pretty much from my college apartment to our first apartment in Jacksonville.  When Zachary went on deployment in March of 2011, I moved back home because I had no ties to Jacksonville without him there.  Right before he came back from deployment in October of 2011, I got a different apartment in Jacksonville ready for us to come home to after his six weeks in Rhode Island that I got to spend with him.  Then we moved to on base housing in January of 2013 and then moved to Maryland in April of 2014.  Now we've moved again in April of 2015.  So little Liam has lived in four homes already!  Here are Liam and Malia enjoying our new home:
