December 23 = Marbles Day

I've always wanted to go to Marbles Museum with the kids- they've gone several times with Grandma and Dops but I've never been able to go.  Warning: lots of pictures ahead:

And this picture, I took just because I was in awe of her beautiful curls and wanted to capture it.  I love this girl!

December 22nd = McKenzie Day

We made it to Smithfield!  And to celebrate, Zachary and I got to go out for a dinner date to La Cocina!  We were seated at table 13 and if you know us, you know 13 is our number.  We started dating on the 13th and we also found out we were expecting Liam and Malia on the 13th.  This new little girl hasn't had any affiliation with our favorite number so when we were seated at table 13, Zachary decided it would be a good time to pick her name.

We flipped some coins about a million times... but we have this strategy where we flip a coin but then we'll say which one we were hoping for, heads or tails, and that's more often than not how we make our decision instead of what the coin says.  Well the coin and our preference were the same in this case so unless something drastic happens, we'll be welcoming little McKenzie in June :)

December 21 = Travel Eve

We leave tomorrow to go to NC for a while so today was about packing and cleaning!

Malia slept in her robe and new shoes that she got last night:

I'm going to clean these walls... one day.  Probably not today.

We got this Christmas card sent home with Liam- here's his class- he's so cute!!

Malia knows it's cold outside so she got ready by putting her socks on her hands.  Now we just need to find socks to put on her feet...

Malia is such a caring little girl- here she is taking care of her baby:

Liam got tired so he hid under his blanket- he doesn't want anyone to know he's tired.

We started these last night but they had to stay in the refrigerator over night so we baked them tonight.  Yummmmmmm!!

December 20 = Our Little Christmas

We decided yesterday to go to NC after all for Christmas.  It's just not Christmas without family.  But tonight, we had a little Christmas with just the four of us.

After opening a few presents, we put the kids to bed and we got to baking!  This is my sparkling apple cranberry juice.  Oh my goodness- so good.

And here's the yummy chocolate chex mix we made- I'm not sure how much will make it to NC...

Here's Miss Lala in her new robe and her new shoes... she's set.

December 19 = Ear Muffs Day

Malia and I might have had Chick-fil-a for breakfast this morning.  Maybe.

Aunt Debby sent us some Christmas presents today!  I put the wrapped ones away like a good adult but the ear muffs were not wrapped so I let myself cheat on those.  Malia was happy about it.

This came home in Liam's bookbag today- how cute is he?!?!

Here's my world:

We went to the gym and I was in disbelief about how big this 14 week belly is... some people haven't even told people they're pregnant at this point- I do not have that option, my body tells people for me :)

December 18 = Peach Day

Look!  Baby girl is the size of a peach.  And that's all I've got for today :)

December 17 = Pony Tail Day

Zachary has mastered the art of putting a pony tail in this crazy girl's hair.

Also, this was my dinner tonight.  Yum.

December 15 = Big Nap Day

I was apparently really impressed with the lunch I put together for the kids and myself so I took a picture of it- not sure why it's sideways but I'm rushing through so... there we go.

Malia was super impressed as well:

Also, this:

Liam ate his lunch and took a good nap- here's a mini photo series of him waking up:

December 14 = Haha Day

I'm just going to leave this here:

December 13 = Technology Day

First, here's Marley being all regal:

And here are my children being entertained by their Amazon Fire tablets.  Malia's attached to the wall because hers had died.
