And here are some pictures of our thankful tree- we had so much fun making this!
So that you don't have to zoom in, here's what the leaves say:

And at the very bottom we have Gramps & Jesus. When my dad first saw it, he was slightly offended that he was at the bottom but when he saw he was next to Jesus he figured it was alright.
Also, I'm super late on taking Kayleigh's 5 month picture but better late than never right? Right??
Oh my goodness- this picture. Can you just see the pride he has in being a big brother on his face? He loves her so, so much.
That picture was taken while we were waiting for his therapy appointments- he drew this picture on the board during OT. Not sure what it is but I like it anyway.
Kayleigh has to get bloodwork done to make sure her phenobarbital level is good- I took her to the clinic today to get it done... they told me after they unsuccessfully tried twice that they don't have needles small enough for young babies, that we should take her to the hospital. How I wish they would have told me that before they stuck her. Here's my little monkey waiting to take her back...
And here's Miss Kayleigh, not bothered by any of it.
I got a new game for the kids- Hungry Hungry Hippo- I'm hoping it will promote turn taking... we shall see ;)
And we can't leave Rosie out of the post for today, can we?
We
didn't have a very long way to go this morning since we had driven a
good amount the night before. Malia wanted to make sure "puppy" (we're
very creative with names around here) was ready to go.
We
passed the chickfila that's 45 minutes away from us on our way home so
it was a perfect time for us to stop. It may have been less than two
weeks since we've been last but that's an eternity for us! Kayleigh was
pretty excited:
The toy that came with the kids' meals was a little art/craft kit- here was Liam's creation- I was pretty impressed!
Eventually
we made our way back home- we found a boarding place that would take
Rosie right before we left- she had so much fun- we got pictures and
updates while we were gone- but we could tell she was happy to be home
and with her latest snuggle buddy!
Kayleigh has found her place in our new home-yay for baby swings!
Also, I am going to transcribe a conversation Malia and I had today.
Malia: Mommyyyyyyyy I don't want it Me: You don't want what? Malia: I don't! I don't want it! Me: You don't want what babe? Malia: I don't knowwwwwwwwwww. Welcome to having a three year old. But then she does stuff like this...
Also here's a video of Rosie popping out of a box because why not?
First, Rosie has committed her first almost unforgivable offense against me:
But then she does this and makes up for it:
Zachary and I packed up the stuff we didn't have the movers pack and left a couple of lawn chairs and our tv for the night... there will be a little bit to pack in the morning but not too much! Here's our set up:
Saw this and it was quite appropriate because traveling with three kids in the car is something that requires being handled.
Oh... how could I forget about Rosie? She wasn't too difficult.
Malia wasn't difficult the whole time...
Kayleigh didn't sleep very much on the way home but once we got home she was out. Which may not seem great but it was pretty awesome because we were able to get some unpacking done.
Rosie just slept in the car and at home... my kind of girl!
We headed to NC this weekend- it's our second to last weekend in Annapolis so we wanted to take advantage of being close-ish to NC for Malia's birthday and have one last trip before we make the move up to Rhode Island. Zachary got some funny pictures of Rosie in the car on the way down:
Having a potty seat in the car is now a must... it was so nice to have a potty-trained child and not have to stop!
Pretty girl!
Zachary took this picture- he took quite a few- but this was his favorite because he captured Liam mid-sneeze.
