October 21 = Rosie Day

Today was all about Rosie!  We got her a doghouse...

...with it's own address!

She was definitely feeling the love.

October 20 = Proud Brother Day

Oh my goodness- this picture.  Can you just see the pride he has in being a big brother on his face?  He loves her so, so much.

That picture was taken while we were waiting for his therapy appointments- he drew this picture on the board during OT.  Not sure what it is but I like it anyway.

Kayleigh has to get bloodwork done to make sure her phenobarbital level is good- I took her to the clinic today to get it done... they told me after they unsuccessfully tried twice that they don't have needles small enough for young babies, that we should take her to the hospital.  How I wish they would have told me that before they stuck her.  Here's my little monkey waiting to take her back...

And here's Miss Kayleigh, not bothered by any of it.

I got a new game for the kids- Hungry Hungry Hippo- I'm hoping it will promote turn taking... we shall see ;)

And we can't leave Rosie out of the post for today, can we?

October 18 = Sleep Anywhere Day

Another picture of a sleeping child- I can't help myself!

October 17 = Disability Parking Day

I saw this and laughed so hard.  Zachary asked what in the world I was laughing at and so I showed him this- he didn't think it was quite as funny as I did.

I got these in the mail today and I couldn't be happier about it!  Liam is a flight risk when it comes to parking lots so his pediatrician happily filled out the paperwork for us to get these- and the best news is they don't expire for three years!

Also, this.  I miss Target.

October 15 = Church Day

So today was one of my favorite days ever.  We went to church- we've been going to the church that AWANA is at so that Liam can go twice a week and get used to it a little faster.  The church's childcare routine is for them to be in the church for the beginning but we haven't tried that... until today!

They do worship music for about 20 minutes at the beginning and since Liam loves music we decided to give it a try today.  I sent this text to Alexandra:

"I just had the happiest moment of my life.  We let the kids come into the sanctuary for the music.  Liam stood with these three women- one of whom sits with him at AWANA he was clapping and smiling and swaying and like bowing his head and folding his hands.  Malia had this cute dress on and boots and she's spinning around and singing and dancing and I was holding Kayleigh and she was asleep and so sweet.  It was seriously the best few minutes ever ever."

October 14 = New Chalkboard Day

We went to McDonalds for breakfast this morning- they have a bookshelf with lots of fun books that Liam and Malia could choose from...

Uhm.  Look at this baby.

Snuggles:

I updated my chalkboard again- I love this thing.

Lord help us if we get to Winter Storm Liam.

October 13 = Daddy/Daughter Day

Malia has been in a really cranky mood lately so tonight, we were all planning on going to dinner but Zachary decided to take Malia to dinner, just the two of them.

Another picture of a sleeping baby... it's what I do.

October 12 = Date Night

Gramps & Mimi kept all the kids tonight for us and Zachary and I went clothes shopping and then to dinner at Coddington Brewery.  I got a Bellini- how pretty!

October 11 = Gramps & Kayleigh Day

Gramps and Mimi kept Kayleigh while Liam was at school today so I took Malia to the library- we played in the kids' room for a while- she had a lot of fun!

And here's some pictures of gramps with his other granddaughter:

October 10 = Gramps & Mimi Visit Day

Look at these two holding hands:

And just look at Ms. Bright Eyes-

Gramps and Mimi left North Carolina yesterday, they stopped halfway and then got in today a couple minutes before Liam got home from school- they were really hoping to be here when he got off the bus and they made it!

On the 8th we only got a picture of Kayleigh with her sign laying down- I was not willing to wake her up for a picture, so today I got some with her in the chair with her sign just to be consistent with the pictures from previous months.

Malia wanted to do a craft today- I got these little paintable pumpkins from Michael's the other day and have been keeping them hidden and waiting for an opportunity like today!

Sleeping baby alert:

There's nothing like a girl and her daddy but there's also nothing like a girl and her grandpa... or gramps!

October 9 = Columbus Day

Zachary had today off- yay!

He had an idea to do a craft... he left the specifics up to me... he kind of left all of it up to me but the thought originated with him :)

October 8 = Four Months Day

Kayleigh is four months old today!  So here's some pictures of her :)

October 6 = Jumping in Puddles Day

Malia put Kayleigh's little lovey on her today while she was sleeping- such a sweet sister!

Also, this:

This was in my Real Simple magazine and I liked it so I took a picture- I love being able to take pictures of stuff whenever I want- so convenient!

September 26 = Fall Asleep Anywhere Day

Another one completely out of order- I don't know how this keeps happening but here we go...

Some artwork from Liam:
