November 3 = Typical Day

I got one picture of each today- and it pretty much sums up a typical day for us.  Kayleigh is sleepy and snuggly:

 Malia is adventurous:

And Liam is busy.

November 2 = Baby Feet Day

I just can't resist.

November 1 = Yummy Breakfast Day

Liam's still a little loopy from his MRI yesterday so while I had both Liam and Malia scheduled to go to the CDC, I kept Liam out and we went and got breakfast at Newport Creamery- here's his pancake:

and little Kayleigh was happy to tag along!

October 31 = Halloween

Halloween and MRI Day!  Liam and I went to get his MRI done today- the person ahead of him had some extra tests added so they were running way behind.  Thankfully, they had a red car- what could Liam love more??- and such a nice nurse who walked up and down the halls with him while I took care of Kayleigh- Malia was at the CDC thank goodness!

While we were waiting for his MRI to be done, I was looking at Kayleigh and could remember Malia wearing the same shirt so I did some facebook looking and found this-

and then wondered if Liam looked anymore like Kayleigh so I found his 5 month picture since Kayleigh will be 5 months old in a few days!

Before too long it was time to go sit with Liam until he woke up from sedation- they gave him a snack when he woke up and he promptly spilled it all over the bed:

Everyone was so nice though!  They gave him that snoopy and he had talked a lot about his sisters so they gave him this bracelet to give to Malia:

and even Kayleigh got a toy!

Later, it was time for some Halloween fun!  This year, we were all superheroes.  Liam was Batman and Malia was Robin... appropriate since they are such a little team.

and Kayleigh was the flash...

Here's Liam enjoying some of their spoils:

October 29 = Football Day

We had lots of football jerseys on today- except for Malia- she wore her dress all day.  She loves this dress.

October 28 = Togetherness Day

This is rare so I took a million pictures of it:

This is not as rare:

October 27 = Hold Your Own Bottle Day

Look at this big girl holding her own bottle!

October 26 = Chalkboard Day

Bah, she's so cute.

I got a new Bible today- look how pretty!

Also, I updated my chalkboard.  I love this thing.  This is what it was:

And this is what I changed it to:

October 25 = Jump in Puddles Day

So there's a common misconception that all people with Autism are not super social.  Liam proves that this is not true.  He loves meeting people at his appointments- he just goes and sits next to whomever he chooses... this is one of his most popular targets.

So we've lived in quite a few places- I have a favorite part of each house- my favorite part of the Enclave was that it was our first place together (it definitely was not the furniture), my favorite part of North Beach was the huge kitchen island with tons of storage, my favorite part of the house on base- well this one's hard because there were so many things I loved about this house- feeling safe, having so much space, being close to the beach... my favorite part of Perry Circle (the first time around) was the hardwoods throughout the house, my favorite part of Baystone was having a backyard, my favorite part of Perry Circle take two was the friendliness of the whole building.  This place in Newport is definitely not my favorite- it definitely is my least favorite- in fact it's hard for me to name a favorite part- uhm we don't have to have the litter box in the bathroom- that's a positive.  But this probably is Malia's favorite house because of this one small detail that no one else would notice.   There's a dip in the driveway that makes a perfect hole for puddles when it rains.  Just watch her.

October 24 = Sweet Siblings Day

Look at these two- the two babies of the family:

Liam can be very focused on what he wants to do so it was so so sweet that he wanted to feed Kayleigh.  He wouldn't multi-task for just anyone.

And I love pictures of sleeping babies.

October 23 = Eventful Day

We started off the day by heading to Liam's appointment- I brought some playing cards for Malia to play with in hopes that she would be at least slightly entertained- it was pretty successful!

Then we headed to the Y for Malia's gymnastics class.  It's so fun watching her run around and just doing whatever she wants!

On the way out of the Y, Malia started complaining about her nose- I looked in it and could tell something was in there so I took Liam to the CDC and headed to the ER- sure enough this is what they found... I have no clue what it is- it was black and spongy- who knows.

While I was calling her PCM to let them know we went to the ER, this happened:

It really is incredible how quickly they can make such a big mess.
